Liffe Robusta coffee futures closed lower due to slight rebound in Robusta coffee inventories weighing on Robusta prices after ICE-monitored Robusta coffee inventories on Monday climbed to a 2-1/2 week high, according to Uganda Coffee Development Authority data.
November position closed at $ 2430 per ton losing US$ 9 while January position closed at $2336 per ton losing US$ 11 from previous closing.
ICE Arabica coffee futures. Coffee prices on Tuesday settled moderately lower as a stronger dollar on Tuesday weighed on coffee prices.
The New York market ended the day on a negative note with 65.71% of the earlier losses of the day intact.
December position closed at US cents 152.00 per lb losing 0.85 US Cents while March position closed at US cents 153.15 per lb losing 0.70 US Cents from the previous closing.
