The state minister for northern Uganda, Grace Freedom Kwiyucwiny has appealed to stakeholders in Terego district to embrace mindset change ahead of the roll out of the Northern Uganda Social Action Fund (NUSAF IV) project.
Kwiyucwiny was speaking during the handover of a multi-million aggregation center and oil milling machine to the leaders and farmers of Terego district at Bileafe sub county headquarters on Wednesday April 26.
She says talks are in advanced stage with the World Bank to bankroll the operation of NUSAF IV project in Northern Uganda.
Kwiyucwiny says mistakes made in the past NUSAF projects should not be repeated through mindset change.
She emphasized the need for the farmers to own and embrace projects citing cases where farmers are given livelihood support inform of animals which they sell before reaching home rendering such projects worthless.
