Bioslurry is a thick liquid that comes out of the biogas plant outlet and then flows into slurry pits. As the slurry is ejected after a process of anaerobic digestion within the plant digester (about 50 days), the slurry is sanitised, disinfected, and turns the nutrients in more available form to plants.
It enables soil fertility restoration, provides biogas raw material and food nutrients.
- It is a good alternative to artificial fertilisers.
- It can be used to treat seeds because it results into higher germination, better yields, better colouration of fruits and vegetables.
- It enables increased food value in the fodder grown for animals. Bioslurry has chemicals that make the animals hungry, eat a lot and grow faster. The more food eaten by animals means more availability of nutrients from its dung.
