Best exhibitors at the Netherlands Village, one of the sponsors of the Harvest Money Expo have been awarded as a way of appreciating those who put in efforts to exhibit.
During the awarding ceremony, Frank Buzer, the Netherlands agriculture councillor, explained that the Dutch Village is now a tradition, and it continues to get better with nice new innovations and technologies.
“We will continue with this idea,” Buzer said.
The ambassador of the Netherlands in Uganda, Frederieke Quispel, said she is happy that this is one of the best days for her as the ambassador of the Netherlands in Uganda.
“I have enjoyed seeing farmers progressing and integrating Ugandan knowledge and Dutch technology, which has seen both countries benefit from each other. I want to thank the exhibitors and showgoers,” she said.

Urban Green was awarded the overall best exhibitor, Biglad Mixed Farm, who is one of the best farmer winners, WastePlus was awarded the best innovator, and Westlink the youth category.
